In 2023, Iberia Express has managed to exceed the number of travelers transported compared to the previous year and also the number of flights operated, 13.7% more than the previous year. In addition, the low-cost company has reached 50 million passengers since its inception in 2023.

In 2023, there will be 50 million passengers transported since 2012 and the flights operated the previous year have increased by almost 14%.

Regarding 2023 operations, more than 38% of the flights correspond to the most important market for the airline, the Canary Islands, where Iberia Express had more than 3.1 million seats throughout the year, a 10.3 % more than in 2022.

In the Balearic market, the airline exceeded the figure of 7,700 operated flights and more than 1.5 million seats last year, which represents an increase of 7.6% and 6.5% respectively compared to 2022.

Regarding the fleet and after the renewal in which it has continued to advance, this year the airline will fly with half of its new generation aircraft. Today, Iberia Express has 12 A321Neo, an efficient model for short and medium-haul flights in terms of noise reduction, fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.
