Ryanair focuses on Malaga in summer with 5 new routes and almost €279 million

Ryanair will deploy this summer in Malaga an extensive schedule of flights to 89 destinations to which three more aircraft will fly, adding to the 13 based at the Malaga airport. An increase in the offer that will mean a disbursement of 278.6 million euros to provide service to 5.3 million passengers, 19% more than the previous year.

This summer Ryanair reinforces the growth commitment in Malaga with a record schedule to which he has added five new routes to Bari, Bucharest, Lodz, Ostrava and Prague. Some new connections that are incorporated into the map of the Irish airline to and from the Malaga airport and that add up to a total of 89 destinations.

To face this supply increasethe Irish airline also increases by 3 planes the fleet at the base of the Malaga-Costa del Sol airportwhere 16 aircraft will be based.

Due to both the increase in routes and aircraft based in Malaga, Ryananir is going to allocate an additional 278.6 million to face the summer season and provide service to the passenger increase forecasts of 19% compared to the previous year’s figures.

Elena CabreraDirector of Ryanair in Spain, pointed out that this is the “largest summer program to Malaga” to offer citizens/visitors of Malaga even more options for weekend and holiday city breaks, which she highlighted, highlights “Ryanair’s commitment to tourism growth and connectivity in Malaga.”
