Wamos Air resumes operations between New Zealand and Australia

Wamos Air once again puts one of its A330s into the service of Air New Zealand. The airline has just resumed daily flights between Auckland, New Zealand, and Perth, one of Australia’s westernmost cities (Wamos Air makes the jump to New Zealand and Australia with the A330).

“New route, new adventures await us. We are pleased to announce that Wamos Air is joining forces once again with Air New Zealand to offer an exceptional flight experience,” highlights the company led by Enrique Saiz on social networks.

In principle, the agreement is valid until April 30 of this year. As published PreferentialWamos Air debuted on this connection in November 2022. The contract expired in February 2023, although Air New Zealand, in need of aircraft to maintain capacity, decided to renew the agreement after verifying the favorable evaluation of its customers. the services provided by the Spanish company.

It is worth remembering that Wamos Air changed its direction just before the summer of 2022. It then abandoned regular operations in the Caribbean to focus on charter, wet lease and cargo flights, thus betting on a less seasonal and more profitable business (Ávoris assumes the Wamos operations in the Caribbean).
