In full Albufera Natural Park, facing the waters of the Mediterranean Sea, the Parador de El Saler is located, surrounded by dunes and pine forests. A safe space for Mediterranean turtles

From now on, at the Parador de El Saler, the Mediterranean turtles have a safe space where they can gradually get used to living in freedom again, to do a reintroduction into the middle more gradual and reliable, considerably increasing your survival rate.

The NGO Xaloc Mar insists on the importance of knowing the difference between these native land turtles and other invasive species such as Trachemys scripta, which is why this sanctuary is a controlled and protected space for previously selected specimens and The free introduction of animals is not allowed outside this biodiversity conservation program.

The Parador de El Saler can boast of being in a privileged location. Within a natural park and next to a beach, the hotel has an elegant design and low height, so as not to clash too much with the landscape.
