Room007 increases its turnover by 233% in 2023, up to €40 M

Room007a platform for hostels and boutique hotels in the Iberian Peninsula, has closed the year 2023 surpassing the 40 million euros of turnover and doubling its Ebitda. This year it plans to exceed 80 million euros and continue its expansion throughout Spain, Portugal, Italy and France.

The company has stated that “success” in last year’s results is marked by the 60% growth in the number of rooms in operation, as a result of new openings. In 2023 they reached 700 rooms available, since they opened a total of 264: 70 in Rome, 59 in Porto, 43 in Bilbao, 30 in Valencia and 62 in San Sebastián.

It is worth remembering that in June of last year, Room007 closed a round of 5 million euros led by el Banco Santander Smart Fundfor its organic expansion and for corporate purchases in Spain, Portugal and Italy.

“I feel enormously proud of all the achievements achieved throughout 2023, the result of perseverance, the team, effort and trust. We are very happy to continue doubling our size and this year we will continue breaking down barriers. We want to continue growing and bring quality to the market,” he highlighted. The chain remains optimistic for 2024, so much so that they foresee a turnover of 85 million euros and expand the workforce to reach 400 workerss. These figures are based on the opening of approximately 15 new establishments and more than 900 new rooms over the course of the year, with the aim of exceeding 1,500 new rooms in 2025, which means continuing to double the growth rate annually.
