The CaixaBank awards recognize businesswomen in the hotel sector

The ‘Hotels & Tourism Awards’ of CaixaBankawarded in Fitur, have recognized this year a group of female managers in the hotel and tourist accommodation sector “for his professional career and leadership of projects that contribute to improving the tourism offer,” as reported by the financial entity.

The CaixaBank awards have rewarded a total of 13 businesswomen and executives:

  • Gisela ValderramaCEO of the Olivia Hotels group
  • Barbara Halléowner and director of the Hotel Sant Roc
  • Julita GarciaCEO of Grupo Adolfo
  • Ana Beriainowner and director of the El Molino campsite, and director of the Urbasa Campsite
  • Rocio Ruizgeneral director of the José María Gastronomy group
  • Carmen CordonCEO of Hidden Away Hotels
  • Alicia MartinónCEO of the Grumasa Martinón Group
  • Oihana Subijanadirector of Hotel Akelarre
  • Antonia and María Plomer, CEO and financial director of Xafiro Hotels
  • María Aurora Cuenca Rosellófounder of the Magic Costa Blanca Hotels & Resorts group
  • Miriam Fuertesexecutive director of the real estate company Profusa, belonging to the Fuertes Group
  • Andrea Martínez Rojas-Marcosdirector of the Kivir hotel and attached to the management of the Bécquer hotel
  • Oskar Shellfounding partner and member of the Board of Directors of Azora Capital.

The delivery ceremony last Wednesday, January 24, was attended by David Rico, director of CaixaBank Hotels & Tourism, and Maribel Rodríguez, vice president of the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC).
