A 46-year-old tourist died after falling from a cliff in the Krasnoyarsk Territory

The day before, a tragedy occurred in the Krasnoyarsk Pillars National Park, popular among tourists. According to the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, a 46-year-old woman fell while trying to climb a rock. “On the evening of February 10, employees of the Krasnoyarsk search and rescue team received a message that in the area of the Ermak rock there was a woman born in 1977, who hit the back of her head when falling, was unconscious and showed no signs of life. Rescuers took the woman to an ambulance. Doctors diagnosed death,” the department said. They once again warned: without preparation and special equipment, attempts to conquer mountain peaks could end fatally.

On the same day, rescuers had to rescue two more tourists from trouble – a 59-year-old woman and a 16-year-old teenager were injured in the Krasnoyarsk Pillars. They were taken to the hospital; now the health of the victims is not in danger.

Saturday also didn’t go well for tourists vacationing at the Krasnoyarsk Reservoir – they also needed help from EMERCOM employees. Two people staying at the Berendey recreation center had their tent blown away by the wind and needed to be evacuated. Another group of extreme sports enthusiasts had a snowmobile fall through the ice. The Ministry of Emergency Situations brought tourists to a safe place and now, most likely, extreme sports enthusiasts will have to pay a fine – access to the ice of the Krasnoyarsk reservoir is now prohibited.

At the end of October, TourDom.ru wrote about a unique rescue operation in the Krasnodar Territory – a tourist and his 13-year-old daughter were removed from a mountain near Krasnaya Polyana for almost a day. The emergency happened on the Achishkho ridge.
