A Russian tourist was deported from Turkey to his homeland due to debts

A resident of Khakassia, who owed banks about 3 million rubles, went on vacation to Turkey, while having a ban on leaving the Russian Federation. He managed to leave the country, but he never made it to the resorts of the republic: the tourist was turned away at the arrival airport. About it reported in the press service of the Office of the Federal Bailiff Service for the Republic of Khakassia.

The man, knowing about the restrictions imposed, arrived in Minsk, and from there flew to Istanbul. This method has long been used quite often by Russians who are prohibited from traveling abroad. Travel forums report daily on successful border crossings at the Minsk terminal.

However, this option does not provide a 100% guarantee of bypassing the system. At a Turkish airport, a Russian citizen was detained at passport control for additional checks. After all the circumstances were clarified, he was sent on the next flight to Russia.

In turn, at home a criminal case was opened against the man under the article of illegally crossing the Russian border. Punishment includes a fine of up to 200 thousand rubles, correctional labor or imprisonment. After returning to the country, the tourist began to pay off his debts.
