A sign to Perm was put up as a joke at the Penza airport

A sign “Perm” appeared near the Penza airport. It says distance to the Ural city – 1180 km – and the direction in which you need to move is indicated. First Deputy Chairman of the Penza Region Oleg Yakov believesthat the new sign will help those who are confused understand where and how long they need to go.

This is a response to a joke by Perm artists. At the end of May on the roof of the local aviation museum appeared the inscription “Welcome to Penza”. Graffiti can be seen from the window of a plane preparing to land in Perm. So they make fun of the fact that Russians confuse the two cities.

Most telegram channel subscribers “Roof of the TourDom” The artists’ May humor was appreciated. Some suggested making similar inscriptions in Krasnoyarsk and Krasnodar, Saratov and Samara, Yakutsk and Irkutsk. However, there are those who do not understand why it is so confusing for people who find it difficult to navigate the names, and do not consider such jokes creative.

Earlier, TourDom.ru wrote that a Russian travel agent mistakenly sent tourists to Turkish Mardin instead of Madrid.
