Renovation of a Soviet sanatorium in New Moscow cost 3 billion

The old sanatorium “Erino” in New Moscow is being transformed into a modern resort. By mid-summer they plan to open two reconstructed buildings there, the Osnova group of companies reports in its newsletter. In addition to rooms, the buildings will have a library, restaurants, conference rooms and a children’s club.

They spent 3 billion rubles on renovation of the resort. Last year, this money was used to renovate the health complex with a gym and hammam, tidy up the medical and diagnostic center, and build summer recreation areas with outdoor and children’s pools from scratch.

Now you can book rooms in three buildings at Erino. The cheapest ones are in building No. 1 and in Krona. Double “standards” there cost from 9 thousand rubles. The rooms in Dubrava are better, so their prices are slightly higher. So, for “standard +” with a balcony you will need to pay from 12 thousand rubles.

The Erino sanatorium was built back in the 60s for employees of the Ministry of Atomic Energy. It occupies an area of 22 hectares. Near the health resort there are forests and a healing spring. The opening of this facility after reconstruction is good news, since there are not enough modern sanatoriums in Russia – demand exceeds supply.

TourDom.ru previously reported that some sanatoriums offer travel agents higher prices than tourists who book rooms on their own.
