Shuttles between Moscow and St. Petersburg will launch on June 1

Planes will begin to fly to St. Petersburg from Sheremetyevo every 15 minutes, and from Vnukovo once every half hour, Aeroflot announced in its newsletter. The launch of shuttle flights is scheduled for June 1. Every day Pulkovo Airport will receive 70 planes from Moscow.

The program has its own peculiarity – the Economy Shuttle tariff group. It will allow tourists to change tickets and fly at a different time. You can select a flight within 12 hours before or after your scheduled takeoff. To do this, you need to go to the information desk or call the airline no earlier than 12 hours and no later than 40 minutes before the initial flight.

Aeroflot clarifies that this innovation is primarily aimed at those who fly between the two capitals on business. But the service will also be convenient for tourists – especially those who are late for their flight due to traffic jams or for another reason.

Earlier, TourDom.ru wrote that Russian Railways does not consider Aeroflot shuttles as competitors to its Sapsan buses, because the trains arrive directly in the city center, and passengers do not have to stand in line for security checks and check in luggage.
