One more year carnivals arrive to all corners of Spain. Their festival already has almost half a millennium of history and has been declared International party of touristic interest thanks, among other things, to the spectacular dresses and costumes that can be seen both in the streets and at the spectacular gala in which the Carnival Queen.

Another of the great carnival destinations in Spain is Cádiz. Its already mythical chirigotas have become part of popular culture thanks to their mix of transcendental social issues and the touch of humor that characterizes these songs. But musical groups are not the only attractions that the city has at this time, since there are also many costume parades during all the days that the festival lasts, as well as concerts, parties, and activities for children.

All Extremadurans gather in the city during this festival considered one of the best in Europe and in which its impressive parades, such as the one on the inaugural Sunday, have earned it being considered a Festival of International Tourist Interest. For ten days, Badajoz is filled with costumes, parties and fun, as more than 10,000 people that fill the urban center every year are the true soul of this impressive carnival.

The starting signal for these festivities in the Barcelona town of Sitges is given with the traditional parade in which the king Carnestoltes I arrives in the town with the queen to start one of the carnivals best known in all of Catalonia. Over the course of a week, both the little ones and those looking for a party can enjoy non-stop with endless activities at all hours of the day and night.

Young people from all over Castilla y León They come to the fourth most populated town in Salamanca on the first Saturday of Carnival to enjoy the Ciudad Rodrigo festival during the day.
