The pearl of the Caucasus is one of the most fascinating (and unknown) places in Europe. Despite its small size, Georgia has an enormous diversity of landscapes and tourist attractions such as the troglodyte constructions of Vardzia (from the 12th century), a series of houses and a monastery that are excavated on the slopes of Mount Erusheti. In addition to this architectural wonder that is located near the border with Turkey, Georgia has many more attractions that more than justify this trip: its bustling Tbilisi, the Chalaadi glacierthe green valleys and the picturesque mountain towns, among which stands out Chazhashi, a village in Svaneti (in the Upper Caucasus Mountains), which is one of the most beautiful places in Georgia. Furthermore, with its 2,300 meters above sea level, it is the highest inhabited town in Europe.

Among so many mountains, ski lovers will find their paradise in Georgia. In this country, which has snow-capped peaks that reach 4,000 meters high, this sport has great tradition and modern resorts where you can enjoy the snow if you travel during the winter. The first ski resort in Georgia opened at the beginning of the 20th century, and since then, new and atmospheric places have been emerging. The best known are Bakuriani (with a great reputation as a winter sports training center for athletes) and Gudaurifamous for its soft snow, long slopes and the beauty of the surrounding mountains.

Wild nature and totally isolated territories is what will mark this trip. Bordered by four seas, in this wonderful and cold Alaska you can enjoy a great diversity of landscapes: beaches, high mountain ranges, fjords, volcanoes and also glaciers, and of course, an abundant and very original fauna. You will only be able to access Juneau, the capital, by plane or boat. Located at the foot of two mountains and surrounded by water, once here you can enjoy unforgettable walks. And take the opportunity to live a unique experience: visit the Mendenhall Glacier, 20 kilometers from Juneau. It has the peculiarity that it houses ice caves and tunnels that are open to visitors. To enter you must do so accompanied by a guide and good physical fitness is required.

Of the eight natural parks in Alaska, one of the most special is the Katmai National Park and Reserve, in the southern region of Alaska, on the Pacific. This reserve, which protects an active volcanic landscape, is a very important habitat of the red salmon. Furthermore, there are more than 2,000 brown bears which you can observe (and capture with your camera), as they dive into the waters of the Brooks River to feed on these fish.
