The most comfortable airports in the world are in Asia, and the worst are in Europe and the USA

Journalists from Business Traveler published ranking of the 10 best and 10 worst airports in the world for business travelers. Based on reviews on the Skytrax Airline Quality platform.

As a result, the leaders were the hubs of Southeast Asia.

The first place was taken by the airport of Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, Noi Bai. Travelers praised the observation deck, exceptional cleanliness, friendly staff and excellent food selection. Also in the top three are Changi in Singapore and Hong Kong International Airport.

At the same time, the leaders in the anti-rating were air harbors located in Europe and the USA. Charleroi was ranked first among the worst in Brussels; businessmen rated Berlin-Brandenburg a little higher. The British Leeds-Bradford in West Yorkshire took bronze among outsiders.

Telegram channel subscribers “Roof of the TourDom” offered their options.

“I was in eight of the 10 best, I agree with all of them, except for Vantaa, which is tiny and unremarkable,” wrote one tourist. The worst, in his opinion, are Heathrow (London, UK) and John F. Kennedy International Airport (New York, USA).

Subscribers were surprised that Mumbai was included in the ranking of the best: “What’s good there?”, while the list compiled by the British does not include the new airports of Dubai and Istanbul.

“The best are Incheon (Seoul, South Korea), Bahrain (Manama, Bahrain), Arlanda (Stockholm, Sweden),” another tourist offered his version of the rating. He named the Indira Gandhi International Airport (Delhi, India) and Daxing (Beijing, China) as the worst among foreign ones.

The hub in Bahrain was named several times among the best (fast, comfortable, clean), but the Beijing Daxing hub caused controversy:

– Great airport, night connection went better than expected

– He is meaningless. The food sucks, there are no smoking rooms, six terrible tunes on repeat

– I do not agree. Lots of cafes for every taste, reasonable prices, plenty of seating, including sofas, clean toilets, availability of drinking water and cups, works with UnionPay.

The capital’s hubs also suffered. Sheremetyevo, for example, caused mixed assessments: from “wonderful airport” to “I can’t stand it.” Some also criticized Domodedovo.

Earlier, TourDom.ru wrote that the Bureau of Civil Aviation Safety of India was concerned about the comfort of passengers and ordered airlines to issue luggage within 30 minutes after the aircraft engines stopped. In Russia, carriers complained about prices for ground handling at airports.
