The Russian government supported the bill on wine tourism

The Government Commission on Legislative Activities supported the bill, according to which wine tourism will be developed in Russia. About this at home in the telegram channel said Federation Council Senator Andrei Yatskin. The document, in particular, will form domestic “wine roads”. Interest in wine tours, according to the senator, increased after the Law on Viticulture and Winemaking in Russia was adopted in 2019.

Andrey Yatskin named the Rostov region, where 18 wineries are located (for example, Arpachina, Vedernikov Winery, Elbuzd, VINABANI and Tsimlyansk Wines), as well as the Krasnodar region, rich in its vineyards ( “Abrau-Durso”, “Lefkadia”, “Southern Wine Company”, Golubitskoe Estate and Chateau de Talu).

Subscribers of the telegram channel “Roof of TourDoma” supplemented this list with the vineyards of Crimea (“Inkerman”). Also, according to the majority, the best places for wine tourism are the surroundings of Anapa and Gelendzhik (“Gai-Kodzor”).

Andrei Yatskin noted that the government has introduced a bill according to which peasants and farms will be able to temporarily accommodate tourists in guest houses located on agricultural lands.

“A trip to Russian vineyards involves not only relaxation, but also an introduction to the traditional rural way of life,” the senator explained.

Both bills are scheduled to be passed this spring. President Vladimir Putin spoke about the need to develop wine tourism in Russia back in 2021. He approved the relevant instructions to the government: in particular, it was necessary to resolve issues with the development of routes and the construction of infrastructure (hotels at wineries, tasting rooms, etc.).
