Tourists from Blagoveshchensk will be transported to Thailand by a reserve plane with a delay of almost a day

A new plane was sent to pick up the passengers of the canceled flight from Blagoveshchensk to Pattaya (Utapao airport). The first flight of the new flight program was delayed by 18 hours due to a technical reason. Tourdom.ru was informed about this by the press service of the airline AZUR Air.

The flight to Thailand will be carried out on a reserve aircraft, which is now preparing to fly to Blagoveshchensk from Moscow’s Vnukovo airport. “The estimated departure time of ZF 2891 to Pattaya is February 6 at 02:00 local time.” While waiting for boarding, the carrier accommodated nonresident passengers in a hotel, and everyone was provided with hot meals.

“To minimize the negative impact on the future schedule, aircraft have been exchanged,” the airline explained, “so long delays of subsequent flights are not expected.”

The Boeing B757-200W was supposed to depart for Thailand today at 8:00 local time (2:00 Moscow time). But the flight was unexpectedly cancelled, and passengers were told that the aircraft needed to be replaced. People were dropped off at the terminal and their luggage was handed out.

The estimated travel time from Ignatievo Airport to Utapao is 7 hours 15 minutes, so the Boeing is expected to land in Thailand at 7 a.m. local time. According to the schedule, passengers were supposed to arrive at the resort today at 13:00. Thus, tourists will lose the first day of rest.

The next flights on the route Blagoveshchensk – Pattaya are announced by AZUR Air on February 11, 17 and 23. The flight program began in February, the carrier planned it until the end of April.
